This turbocharged engine generates 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, with the Platinum trim tuned to deliver 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. Expedition drivers benefit from hill start assist and Hill Descent Control™ technology, too. If you’re stopped on an incline, hill start assist will hold the car in place to give you an extra moment to move from the brake to the accelerator.
The Expedition receives an EPA-estimated 17 city/24 highway MPG–solid fuel economy numbers for a large SUV.

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking: If a potential crash is detected with a car or pedestrian up ahead, you’ll receive a warning. If you aren’t able to react in time, brakes will automatically apply in an effort to avoid a crash.

Auto High-Beam Headlamps: Stay a step ahead. These auto headlamps sense poor lighting conditions and can turn on without driver input needed. Other vehicles’ headlights can also be sensed ahead, dimming your lights momentarily and then activating the high beams again once another car passes.
