Step One: Know Your Car’s Value

When you’re preparing to sell your set of wheels to our dealership, the first thing you’ll need to do is figure out how much it’s worth. This step is easy, as there are plenty of appraisal resources online, including one right here on our website.

Navigate to our “What’s My Car Worth” page. Here, you’ll find our appraisal tool, which gives you an estimated value on your vehicle in less than ten minutes.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Scan your model’s VIN barcode with your smartphone or input the number manually. You’ll then be asked a few questions about your specific model. You’ll even have a chance to share pictures.
• Once the form is submitted, someone from our team will get back to you with an estimate. All that’s left to do is schedule an on-site inspection!

Step Two: Gather Your Documents

There are a number of documents and items you’ll need to bring along with you when selling your car to a dealership. With these at the ready, the process will go seamlessly.

These important pieces of information include:

• Title
• Registration
• Maintenance records
• Any loan or warranty information, if applicable
• Your I.D.

You also want to bring along all key and fob sets and any original equipment that came with your model, such as the spare tire kit, any extra rear seats, and the headphones for multimedia systems.
