Touting a Fresh Face

The first thing that you’ll notice in the 2023 Ford Super Duty is its re-designed face. Its front fascia incorporates a new set of available LED headlights that wrap around the wide rectangular grille. Separating itself from the 2022 model, the 2023 Ford Super Duty features refreshed tail lights. Though official photos of the 2023 Super Duty haven’t been released yet, we expect much of the sheetmetal to remain the same or very similar to the 2022 model – proving that Ford found the sweet spot for this heavy duty truck’s timeless design.

The truck’s cabin is expected to also get a substantial update, and incorporate a host of new functional and usable features that make difficult jobs that much easier.

Mighty Performance

Though we haven’t gotten an official word on the 2023 Ford Super Duty specs, we expect it to carry over its legendary powertrains that allow the current model to tow up to 37,000 pounds and haul a whopping 8,750 pounds.

The entry level model features a 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 385 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a six speed automatic transmission. However, a 10 speed automatic transmission is available should you long for more capability and refinement. Next in line is the larger, 7.3-liter V8 that generates 430 horsepower and 475 lb-ft of torque.

If diesel is what you prefer, opt for the available 6.7-liter Powerstroke diesel engine and you’ll enjoy ultimate capability thanks to 475 horsepower and a whopping 10,50 lb-ft of torque.
